Frequency began in 2013, after founder Kelvin Ruijters began curating a YouTube channel dedicated to sharing music for free. Frequency has since then evolved beyond a YouTube channel and became a leading record label in the promotion of new, outstanding talent. In today's music industry, we notice that many other labels usually invest in what sells the best and fastest. We believe in the journey an artist takes and recognize that there are many roads that lead to the same success. Doing this together is what sets us apart and we make use of our community and creative environment within Frequency. Our mission is therefore to develop long-term relationships with artists by continuously inspiring, investing and intensively guiding music talent, so that the artist can fully focus on making music. We do this within our imprints: Frequency Music, Frequency Recordings and Frequency Publishing.
